PreFlight is the Nashville Entrepreneur Center’s premiere pre-accelerator educational program for entrepreneurs with idea stage startups looking to CREATE a foundation for launching their businesses.  The program is open to startups from all industries.

We want to give you an opportunity to hear from PreFlight alum and the Program Director.  If you are on the fence about the program or you've signed up and want to know what you've gotten yourself into, join us at the EC on January 11, 2016 at 5:30p.  We'll have a networking period, a panel of alum and mentors and a chat about what the program involves.

This is an opportunity to “kick the tires” on a concept and get a taste of the entrepreneur life.

"I came into PreFlight with an idea and a dream and left with a viable business plan. There is no way that DART could have gotten off the ground without PreFlight." - Chris McMurty, Preflight Fall 2014

"From access to great mentors, stellar instructors, and the camaraderie of the other teams, participating in Pre-Flight was one of the best decisions we made during the ramp-up to launch Walleries! " - Brian Oliver, Preflight Fall 2014

"I had a cool idea and a business degree, but I had no clue how to actually start a business - enter Preflight! I found a community of like-minded people, gained feedback and advice from my peers and local mentors, and learned how to get going in the right direction. It was the perfect pre-accelerator." - Ashley Parkes, Preflight Spring 2014

"Preflight opened doors that I didn't know Nashville had, grew my network within other startups in the city, connected me to the top business mentors in the area, and was responsible for a market pivot that otherwise may have never come. Preflight has elevated my business to the next step in my startup journey." - Ben Graves, Preflight Spring 2014

"Prior to Preflight we had jumped into product design, manufacturing and even patent development but quickly hit the wall in what to do next.  Preflight helped to educate us in the early fundamental areas of new product design and business development, investable pitch and presentation as well as effective launch.  The education, information and support our company found in Preflight strengthened our foundations and our resolve, allowing us to move forward with an exciting and effective launch of our carrier.  Preflight will forever share in our success." - Troy Squires, Preflight Spring 2014
