VIC GATTO
SOLIDUS

BIO: Solidus is orientated toward innovative, cost efficient and asset-light business models within healthcare that seek to generate economic returns based on assuming and overcoming such risks. We are uncomfortable with the risks that are outside our circle of competence such as government reimbursement trends, FDA approval process, or R&D projects. As such, Solidus will not assume these risk factors.

There are large trends in the healthcare industry that will give rise to exciting investment opportunities over the next few years. The first of these is the repurposing of technology from other industries for use in healthcare. This enables greater levels of efficiency within hospital / provider segments. Also, we see a necessary trend toward greater consumer responsibility for healthcare decisions. For this reason, we are interested in tools that can be used to empowering consumers to make better informed healthcare decisions.
