Plus, vote to crowd fund the projects and artists that most inspire you.
Who will pitch? Ben Cooper (Music), Celine Thackston (Music), Danny Broadway (Visual Art), Greg Greene (Film), Judy Klich (Visual Art), Lolly Durant (Visual Art), Merry Beth Myrick (Jewelry), Meredith Edmondson (Glass Blowing), Rebekah Hampton Barger (Dance), Rhendi Greenwell (Film/Visual Art), Stephanie Pruitt (Literature) and Steven Knapp (Film).
When? Thursday, January 29th, from 6 – 8 pm
What to expect? Periscope artist mentor Marcus Whitney will host a small business pitch event unlike any other. Artists will pitch about their artistic work, business model, and key needs on their path to reaching their goals.Presentations will be evaluated on artistic clarity as well as business acumen by expert judges including Kia Jarmon, Lauren Snelling, Miranda Whitcomb Pontes, and more. Event attendees will also participate in live voting. Three artists will receive crowd-funding ranging from $500 – $1,000.
