Not even a Nashville ice storm can stop a determined group of entrepreneurs from throwing a party, as we learned last week. Arrister, an alumni company of the Jumpstart Foundry 2014 cohort, is a team of product designers and engineers who make custom furniture, on demand, using local materials and made right here in Nashville, Tennessee. They took full advantage of the launch party packages the EC offers the community as an opportunity to reveal their new Parsonal furniture line. These pieces are defined by simplicity, so that in any form, the integrity of the design is maintained.
In the past week, their Kickstarter campaign has not only raised close to $6,000 toward their goal, their video received Kickstarter Staff Pick too! If supporting an amazing startup like this isn’t enough, the Kickstarter rewards they offer are hard to beat. Even if you aren't looking to purchase furniture just yet, they have a lot of awesome backer rewards for less than $100, which is a great way to show your support.
With the help of EC event coordinator Kelli Nowers and EC graphic designer Gradi Ellis, Arrister had a successful launch party despite the wintery conditions outside.
